Ben Sanderson leads PRUPIM's view formation and strategy team
for the Prudential's £18 billion investment in property
markets and is responsible for research and strategy in Europe
and the Asia-Pacific region for PRUPIM's US $33 billion international
investment programme.
His work provides insights for strategy and inputs into the
position of property within the Prudential's multi-asset allocation
process. Prior to joining Prudential in January 2003, Ben had
over a decade of business and academic experience as an economist
and property researcher, most recently leading the Japanese research
team for Jones Lang LaSalle based in Tokyo.
Prior to that Ben was Jones Lang LaSalle's senior European economist
based in London as part of the European research group. He is
a member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) and is module
leader for the IPF's Advanced Education Programme module on "International
Real Estate Investment". Ben is Vice-Chairman of the UK Society
of Property Researchers and a member of the UK Society of Business
Economists.
Ben has BA and Masters degrees in economics and holds the UK
Society of Investment Professional's Investment Management Certificate.
In 2005 Ben was appointed as an external examiner at the University
of Reading, England on the BSc degree programmes for Investment
and Finance in Property
