The Asia Property Fund ("APF") is the first open-ended real estate fund investing in high quality real estate assets across the Asia Pacific region. The APF offers investors from around the world the opportunity to invest in Asia's major real estate markets, while also setting new industry standards in the region by providing monthly valuations and monthly subscriptions and redemptions. The APF was set up in December 2006 as a joint venture between Prudential Property Investment Management (PRUPIM) and Lasalle Investment Management (LIM).
The APF has a diversified portfolio of 10 properties with a gross asset value of circa US$ 2bn1, providing exposure to 5 countries1, 3 sectors1 and over 7001 tenants. It is listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
In April 2008, PRUPIM Asia and LIM were jointly awarded the Financial Times Pension and Investment Provider Award for Outstanding Overseas Property Manager for their roles in the APF.
